Professional Field Review

After two weeks of rigorous use, both on the range and as part of my daily EDC (Everyday Carry), I can confidently say the XT11GT Pro V3.0 is one of the most versatile and well-designed flashlights currently available.

From the standpoint of self-defense, tactical use, and general utility, Klarus has clearly listened to the real-world needs of professionals. The dual tail switch design is both intuitive and highly efficient. The main tail switch offers immediate access to full output, while the smaller secondary switch allows seamless cycling through brightness levels without having to go through a full output cycle. This feature alone sets it apart from many competitors.

The flashlight's size is perfectly balanced. It fits comfortably in hand, even for users with larger hands like myself, and provides a secure grip in both gloved and ungloved conditions. The matte black finish is non-reflective and professional, suitable for both civilian and tactical use.

Another standout feature is the detachable front bezel ring. In some countries, aggressive bezels are not legally permitted or may draw unwanted attention. The ability to remove the ring offers flexibility for users operating under different regulations or in low-profile settings.

The USB-C charging port is fast and reliable. I’ve charged it via both power banks and wall outlets without any issues. Battery performance has been consistently strong, and the flashlight remains dependable even under extended use.

In terms of carry options, the XT11GT Pro V3.0 works equally well clipped to a belt, pocket, or gear bag. The belt holder secures it firmly, and the clip provides versatility for fast access.

While it is slightly bulkier for deep undercover work, Klarus offers excellent slim-profile models for those purposes, which we will be reviewing soon. However, for standard tactical and professional use, the XT11GT Pro V3.0 is ideal.

To sum up, this flashlight gets my full recommendation. It’s a tool designed with thought, tested under pressure, and proven in the field. I’m proud to work with Klarus—a brand that consistently delivers high-quality gear. Flashlights are one of the key tools in our training and operational systems, and Klarus continues to set the standard.
